Shivani Rawat

Founder & CEO

Shivani Rawat is the Founder and CEO of ShivHans Pictures, a production and finance company that supports the visions of independent filmmakers to create dynamic and groundbreaking feature films outside the traditional Hollywood studio model.

Through ShivHans Pictures, Shivani strives to streamline the film financing process in an effort to fully support the visions of independent filmmakers while collaborating with top-tier talent and cutting-edge creatives. Upcoming films from ShivHans Pictures include Turpentine, directed by Craig Zobel with Melissa McCarthy, Connor Storrie, and Bill Camp, and The Peasant, directed by and starring Dev Patel.

Additional films include the critically acclaimed Hit Man (2023), Ice Road: Vengeance (2025), Oscar-nominated documentary To Kill A Tiger (2022), The Ice Road (2021), Wander Darkly (2020), Oscar-nominated films The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020), Trumbo (2015), and Captain Fantastic (2016), among others. ShivHans has a first look deal with Dev Patel’s production company Minor Realm. In 2019 Rawat's ShivHans Pictures expanded into distribution with Bleecker Street, co-releasing films including Hotel Mumbai, Brian Banks, and Golda. Recent films include The Assessment, directed by Fleur Fortuné, starring Elizabeth Olsen, Alicia Vikander and Himesh Patel; Love Me, starring Kristen Stewart and Steven Yeun, Winner, starring Zach Galifianakis and Connie Britton, and The Wedding Banquet, directed by Andrew Ahn, starring Lily Gladstone and Bowen Yang. In 2022, ShivHans also began co-producing live theater with Broadway’s & Juliet and New York, New York. Next up is Purple Rain, opening spring 2027 at the Majestic Theatre.

Shivani’s ambitious and inclusive approach to film is seen in her support of various industry-related organizations including the California Innocence Project, the Horizon Award, the Motion Picture & Television Fund, and her 2019 sponsorship of HUMANITAS, honoring film and television writing. She also provided seed funding for WIF's #HireHerBack initiative, which supported inclusive hiring during the COVID-19 pandemic. Rawat is a Board member of Women in Film and the Annenberg Inclusion Initiative, as well as a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences, Producers Guild of America, and Film Independent.

Julie Goldstein

President of Production

Julie Goldstein is an award-winning film executive and producer with over 30 producing credits spanning independent film and studio features, including the Academy Award Best Picture winners Shakespeare in Love and Chicago, and the Emmy-winning Grey Gardens. As President of Production at ShivHans Pictures, Goldstein oversees all aspects of the current slate of feature film and television productions, development deals, and strategic partnerships. In addition, Goldstein spearheads ShivHans’s theatrical investments, including the Tony Award-nominated Broadway hit, & Juliet and the upcoming Purple Rain.

Goldstein wrapped production on the crime thriller Turpentine, directed by Craig Zobel, starring Melissa McCarthy, Connor Storrie, and Bill Camp. She is also executive producing A24’s The Peasant, directed by and starring Dev Patel. During her tenure at ShivHans Pictures, Goldstein has helped to build an ambitious and diverse slate of acclaimed and commercial films including: Andrew Ahn’s, The Wedding Banquet, which earned a Sundance Institute/Amazon Studios Producers Award and four nominations for America’s Rainbow Film Festival (ARFF); Fleur Fortuné’s The Assessment, starring Elizabeth Olsen, Alicia Vikander and Himesh Patel, which had its World Premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival; and Richard Linklater’s Hit Man, starring Glen Powell, which premiered at the 2023 Venice and Toronto International Film Festivals before launching to #1 on Netflix. Further, Goldstein produced two films that premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival: Sam & Andy Zuchero’s Love Me, starring Kristen Stewart and Steven Yeun, released in 2025, and Susanna Fogel’s Winner, starring Emilia Jones, Connie Britton and Zach Galifianakis. Additionally, Goldstein was a producer on the successful Netflix films The Ice Road and Ice Road: Vengeance, both starring Liam Neeson.

Goldstein previously served as the President of Production at Endgame Entertainment, working on film and television projects including: Murder Mystery (2019), Old Man and the Gun (2018), Come Sunday (2018), and Looper (2012). Prior to Endgame, Goldstein was Senior Vice President at HBO Films, working on the Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning film Grey Gardens (2009) and the critically acclaimed Kit Kittredge: An American Girl (2008). She also spent more than a decade at Miramax Films, having executive produced an extensive list of titles including: Academy Award-winning ‘Best Picture’ films Chicago (2002) and Shakespeare in Love (1998). Additional credits include Golden Globe and Academy Award-nominees Proof (2005), and Dirty Pretty Things (2002); as well as other commercially successful titles such as Ella Enchanted (2004) and Serendipity (2001).

Additional projects Goldstein has worked on include Golda (2023), The Hunt (2020) for Blumhouse Films, The Discovery (2017), Freeheld (2015), Self/less (2015), Fox Searchlight’s Belle (2013) under her independent banner Sandalboot Entertainment, among others. She is the recipient of two Screen Actors Guild Honor Awards, a Golden Laurel Award from the Producers Guild of America and two Humanitas Prizes. She is a member of Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, BAFTA and the Producers Guild and serves on the Executive Committee of AMPAS.

Connor Flanagan

Head of Development

Connor Flanagan is Head of Development at ShivHans Pictures. Most recently, Flanagan served as an executive producer on the upcoming Turpentine, directed by Craig Zobel and starring Melissa McCarthy, Connor Storrie, and Bill Camp, and co-producer on Dev Patel’s The Peasant. Other recent credits include associate producer on The Wedding Banquet (2025), as well as executive producer on Fleur Fortuné’s The Assessment (2024), starring Elizabeth Olsen, Alicia Vikander, and Himesh Patel, which premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, and Ice Road: Vengeance, the sequel to 2021’s Netflix hit The Ice Road, starring Liam Neeson. Flanagan co-produced Richard Linklater’s Hit Man, which premiered at the 2023 Venice and Toronto International Film Festivals and subsequently launched at #1 on Netflix in June 2024. He was also an executive producer on two features which premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival: Sam & Andy Zuchero’s Love Me, starring Kristen Stewart and Steven Yeun, and Susanna Fogel’s Winner, starring Emilia Jones, Connie Britton and Zach Galifianakis.

Past EP credits include David Oyelowo’s directorial debut The Water Man, which premiered at the 2020 Toronto International Film Festival, and Wander Darkly, written and directed by Tara Miele and starring Sienna Miller and Diego Luna, which also premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. Flanagan co-produced Brian Banks, which won a Humanitas prize and the Audience Award at the 2018 LA Film Festival. He was an associate producer on Sundance selections The Polka King (2017), written and directed by Maya Forbes & Wally Wolodarsky, starring Jack Black and Jenny Slate, and Beirut (2018), starring Jon Hamm and Rosamund Pike, written by Tony Gilroy and directed by Brad Anderson. Additional credits include Captain Fantastic (2016) and Trumbo (2015).

Previously, he was a production and post production executive at ONEZERO Films, working on such features as Helen Hunt’s Ride and Chris Messina’s Alex of Venice, both in 2014. A graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where he completed a double major in film & television production and narrative studies, Flanagan originally hails from Minnesota. He is a member of the Producers Council of the Producers Guild of America.
